Hudson

For some time now, I have been wanting to post pictures of our pupils (a.k.a. future hunting dogs). I guess it’s Hudson’s turn to be in the spotlight. Hudson is a great looking chocolate lab and approximately 15 months old (correct me if I’m wrong, Daniel). As a young pup he began tagging along on some hunting trips and has become a really good retriever. Hudson only wishes he could slide as well as Dixie. It’s sorta a joke between us because Dixie has recently learned to slide down the slide at the playground. I still have no idea what good that does her in the hunting realm, but she loves it! Now I use it as a reward if she does well in training. That might sound crazy, but to each his own.

Check out the images of Hudson below…

Here is Hudson as a young pup. They are cute at this age, and then they grow up. You can tell from this picture that he was going to be a really good looking dog.

Hudson as a young puppy

The first time I saw this picture, I thought it looked like some sort of ad. I was trying to figure out what Daniel was trying to sell.

I believe this was a younger picture of Hudson on one of his first hunts. It looks as if he has the hang of things.

Good Boy Hudson!

Let’s see some pictures of the other dogs…Email them to me and I will post them!

  1. That dog must be worth $100,000,000. If he only could slide down a plastic slide on a kids playground he would have it all.LOL

  2. He’s got a complex now that Dixie can outslide him….Instead of putting a platform on the boat, I thought about installing a slide so Dixie can launch herself into the water. She will be like a torpedo..!

  3. All i know is if I shoot a duck and it lands at the bottom of a slide…dixie is the dog to retrieve it.
